The Syncfusion® SmartFormRecognizer library is a deterministic C# library for .NET designed to accurately detect and interpret form data from PDFs and scanned images. By analyzing visual layout elements—such as lines, boxes and circles—it identifies structured form regions and extracts common field types including text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons and signature areas. The library outputs clean, review-friendly JSON enriched with per‑field confidence scores. When form fields are successfully recognized, Smart Form Recognizer can also generate a corresponding fillable PDF, enabling immediate use and seamless integration into document workflows.

Getting started

• You can fetch the Syncfusion® .NET SmartFromRecognizer library NuGet by simply running Install-Package Syncfusion.SmartFromRecognizer.NET from the Package Manager Console in Visual Studio.
