AMD Is Hiring Again To Help Enhance Ryzen On Linux

Written by Michael Larabel in AMD on 16 May 2025 at 01:00 AM EDT. 31 Comments
AMD is once again hiring more Linux engineer(s) to work on their Ryzen client efforts under Linux with next-gen hardware enablement, enhancing features/support for existing Ryzen systems, and related efforts.

AMD hiring for Linux engineering is hardly notable these days on the server side where EPYC market-share in the data center continues to grow significantly and of course Linux dominates. Building off their steady progress for Ryzen on Linux the past number of years and significant design wins with the likes of Valve's Steam Deck, some Tesla in-vehicle systems, and more, Ryzen on Linux continues to grow in importance too.
