Additional AMD RDNA 4m GPU Targets Coming: GFX1171 & GFX1172

Back in February AMD engineers introduced a new GFX1170 GPU target in LLVM for their AMDGPU shader compiler and was marked with new "RDNA 4m" branding. It's part of the GFX11 family associated with RDNA3 but carrying this new "4m" branding. In follow-up commits they made further ISA changes distinguishing it from existing RDNA 3 GPUs. Now there are two more RDNA 4m targets being added.

A pending pull request to LLVM is adding GFX1171 and GFX1172 GPUs in addition to the original GFX1170. In the documentation they remain under the "RDNA 4m" section.

The new pull request has GFX1171 and GFX1172 following all of the same code paths as GFX1170 and all the same ISA capabilities with no differences to note there.

👁 GFX1171 and GFX1172 are also RDNA 4m

The latest thinking is that AMD RDNA 4m may be for their upcoming Medusa Point APUs but time will tell if it's just for that or with now seeing more GFX117x GPU targets if there will also be other products where we'll end up finding RDNA 4m too.
