AMD Formally Launches Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series 8-12 Core Models
The Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series up to six cores continue to be sampled now while the models up to 12 cores are formally launching today. These higher-core AMD Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series processors are targeting industrial automation applications. The Ryzen AI Embedded X100 series parts at up to 16 Zen 5 cores will be available during the second half of the year.
These Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series designs pair Zen 5 cores with RDNA 3.5 graphics and an XDNA2 NPU.
The 8-12 core models come with a TDP between 15 and 54 Watts and 16 lanes of PCIe Gen 4. With the industrial use-cases in mind, the Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series are rated for 24/7 operation with a 10-year lifetime for these BGA designs.

Notably the Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series is certified for AMD ROCm use for its RDNA 3.5 iGPU.

Silicon production of these new Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series parts is slated for Q3. Reference boards will be out in H2.

The 8-12 core models include the Ryzen AI Embedded P164, P174, P185, P164i, P174i, and P185i models. The i-postfix models are rated for industrial temperatures.
