Armbian 25.5 Adds Support For Newer Single Board Computers

Armbian 25.5 is out today as the newest version of this Debian-based Linux distribution catering primarily to ARM and RISC-V single board computers.

With the Armbian 25.5 release there is support for several new single board computers (SBCs) and improvements to existing boards. Among the SBC compatibility work for Armbian 25.5 was focused on the TI SK-AM69, Banana Pi M2+, BeagleBone AI-64, BeaglePlay, and PocketBeagle2.

Armbian 25.5 also has improved upstream firmware integration for different boards, devices based on the Rockchip64 have moved to the Linux 6.14 kernel, boot improvements around EFI partition alignment, better Btrfs sub-volume support, and a variety of other improvements for this ARM-minded Linux distribution.
