In addition to the release today of a big refresh to Endeavour OS, CachyOS is out with their latest ISO refresh for this additional Arch Linux powered desktop OS. CachyOS for its November 2025 refresh brings installer improvements, now installs additional packages for media acceleration when capable Intel graphics are detected, handling for Bcachefs with its DKMS module, and other improvements.

For enhancing system accessibility, CachyOS now brings Orca screen reader and eSpeak-NG text-to-speech support to its ISO and installer. CachyOS has also been preparing its installer for supporting the KDE Plasma Login Manager and COSMIC Greeter.

For those using CachyOS with the Bcachefs copy-on-write file-system, they now install the "bcachefs-dkms" package for the out-of-tree DKMS-based kernel module for Bcachefs support.

For enhancing the Intel video acceleration experience, on supported systems with Intel integrated/discrete graphics hardware the Intel Media SDK and oneVPL GPU Runtime packages are being installed by default.
