For those making use of GNOME Papers as the increasingly popular document viewer app for the GNOME desktop, a major rework was merged to enhance the annotations experience.

For those annotating documents frequently, GNOME Papers has merged a significant rework to the user-interface for creating and editing annotations. There are also simplified shortcuts and other enhancements around the annotations experience.
