Intel Compute Runtime 25.18.33578.6 Brings ULLS For Lunar Lake

Released yesterday was the newest monthly feature update to the Intel Compute Runtime as their open-source GPU compute stack for OpenCL and oneAPI Level Zero support on Intel integrated and discrete graphics processors.

The new Intel Compute Runtime release brings a number of changes including:

- Enabling Ultra Low Latency Scheduling (ULLS) for Lunar Lake on Linux.

- A new Intel Battlemage PCI device ID is added of 0xE211.

- Improved media engine handling.

- Enable staging for 3D images as another performance improvement.

- Enabling compression support for upcoming Xe3 Panther Lake integrated graphics.

- Various other fixes and performance optimizations.

The Intel Compute Runtime continues supporting Intel Tigerlake graphics and newer on Linux, including pre-release support for the next-gen Xe3 graphics initially being found with Panther Lake SoCs. OpenCL 3.0 and Level Zero 1.6 continue to be the advertised versions on all supported Intel graphics generations.
