Released minutes ago was the newest monthly feature release to the Intel Compute Runtime providing open-source OpenCL and Level Zero capabilities on Intel graphics hardware.

The Intel Compute Runtime 25.31.34666.3 is mostly about preparing for upcoming Xe3 integrated graphics with Panther Lake as well as continuing to make adjustments and optimizations for the latest Battlemage discrete graphics processors. In digging through the Git change-log for the past month of Compute Runtime development, some of the v25.31.34666.3 highlights include:

- Continued performance tuning and adjustments for upcoming Panther Lake hardware.

- Adding more Intel Panther Lake graphics device IDs of 0xB084, 0xB085, 0xB086 and 0xB087.

- Adding another Intel Battlemage device ID of 0xE209.

- Record and Replay API entrypoints are introduced for profiling.

- Platform Monitoring Technology (PMT) integration for the upcoming BMG G31 larger GPU.

- PCI Express downgrade handling for Battlemage GPUs.

- Fork / Join support for Level Zero.
