More Gaming Controllers From Turtle Beach & PowerA Supported By Linux 6.15

Ahead of the Linux 6.15 kernel stable release expected later today, more input driver updates have been merged for this new kernel version that include introducing compatibility with some newer gaming controllers.

Similar to the XPad driver additions earlier this month enabling support for some new controllers, this weekend another round of input subsystem updates add more device ID additions to the XPad driver. With these just being new device ID additions and not risking any existing hardware support, they are safe for merging into the current Linux 6.15 kernel.

👁 Turtle Beach Recon

One of the now-supported controllers is the Turtle Beach Recon Controller that retails for around $40.

👁 Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra

The Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra Controller is also now supported by Linux 6.15 with the XPad driver. The Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra retails for around $175.

👁 PowerA Wired Controller

The third controller added to the XPad driver this weekend for Linux 6.15 is the PowerA Wired Controller for Xbox. This PowerA Wired Controller retails for just around $26.

All three of these controllers are now supported by the mainline Linux 6.15 kernel as of this merge overnight.
