SquashFS Tools 4.3 Brings An LZ4 Compressor, Big Changes

There's finally a user-space tools update for SquashFS, the compressed, read-only file-system used on Linux commonly by Live CD distributions. SquashFS Tools 4.3 is the new release and it comes after three years of development.

SquashFS Tools 4.3 introduces new compression options for the GZIP compressor, a rewritten LZO compressor, a new LZ4 compressor though not yet mainline on the kernel-side, various improvements to mksquashfs, security fixes, and numerous other changes.
