For those that are not fans of OpenOffice or AbiWord, KOffice is one of the popular alternatives for KDE users. Some of the implementations in the newly unleashed KOffice 1.5 is native support for OpenDocument File Format, Krita and Kexi improvements, and a fast paced development. The press release is available for KOffice 1.5. The contents of KOffice 1.5 include KWord, KSpread, KPresenter, Kivio, Kexi, Krita, Karbon14, and KPlato.
