Linux 2.6.38-rc4 Kernel Released
The fourth release candidate of the Linux 2.6.38 kernel is now available.
However, as noted in the release announcement, this release isn't particularly exciting. There aren't any major bug-fixes or changes but just the usual assortment of updates and other work. "Pretty small, all in all. I'd obviously prefer it to be even smaller, and I actually dropped a pull request or two, but for being -rc4 this is by no means horrible. As long as it keeps shrinking, I'll be happy."
The Linux 2.6.38 kernel already has a lot of exciting new features and so far it appears to be in good shape.
