Building off the big OpenZFS 2.3 feature release from January, OpenZFS 2.3.1 is out today with Linux 6.13 kernel compatibility as well as various bug fixes.

For those using OpenZFS on Linux, the OpenZFS 2.3.1 release is now compatible with Linux 6.13 upstream where as the prior v2.3.0 release tapped out at Linux 6.12. There is also some preliminary Linux 6.14 compatibility bits too within OpenZFS 2.3.1 but not yet official given Linux 6.13 stable isn't going to be finalized for another two weeks. OpenZFS 2.3.1 retains Linux kernel compatibility all the way back to the Linux 4.18 days and also works on FreeBSD 12.2-RELEASE and newer.

OpenZFS 2.3.1 also brings various ZFS file-system driver fixes, better filling empty meta slabs, documentation updates, various ZTS fixes, and a variety of other mostly minor fixes.
