Phoronix Marking 22 Years Of Linux Hardware Coverage This Week

On 5 June marks 22 years since starting Phoronix.com for covering the Linux hardware space and open-source news.

Over the past 22 years on Phoronix there have been more than 5,600 original Linux hardware reviews / benchmark articles and more than 50,200 original news articles on hardware, open-source, and Linux topics. If you enjoy the daily flow of original content on Phoronix, for the 22nd birthday week, there is a Phoronix Premium special.

Phoronix Premium allows you ad-free access to the site, multi-page articles on a single page, native dark mode, and other benefits while financially helping the site continue. Operating Phoronix remains difficult given the pressure on the web ad industry especially for a niche such as the predominantly Linux desktop and open-source focus, paired with the wild ad-blocking rates. Thus the one-man-band continues due to my Linux hardware passion and benchmarking. Your support means a lot to help the site continue.

The standard rate for Phoronix Premium is typically $45 USD per year or $250 for a lifetime subscription. For this 22nd birthday Phoronix special, you can go premium at $30 USD per year or $150 for a lifetime subscription. From now through the end of next Monday (8 June, end of day for any timezone... not particularly strict) is this premium special.

To take advantage of this deal, first ensure you need to be registered on the Phoronix Forums as the forums are what handles the subscription/user management aspect. There isn't any integrated sales support in there so the normal prices of premium subscriptions are listed there still. To get the discounted deals of $30 for a year subscription or $150 for a lifetime subscription, PayPal the amount of money to (or you can use this PayPal link or Stripe). For those preferring not to use PayPal or just want to use a CC directly, Stripe is the preferred method if not wanting to deal with a PayPal account. Or if just wanting to provide a birthday/anniversary tip via those means, that's fine too and very much appreciated. Sending any amount extra will be treated as a tip or can be renewed for multiple years if desired, thanks! Then as soon as possible I will have activated your forum account to premium status. If your payment email address is different from your forum's registered email address, please include your forum username when making the payment. Custom corporate/company-wide subscriptions and more can be made available by contacting me or for any other other support options/considerations.

Thanks for your support to help Phoronix continue benchmarking the Linux hardware space 22 years and going. As part of the Phoronix birthday week will also be some other interesting articles and benchmarks in the coming days.
