Following the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 release going GA in May, Rocky Linux 10.0 is now available as this free alternative to RHEL 10.

Joining the likes of AlmaLinux 10.0 as another RHEL 10 downstream, Rocky Linux 10.0 has reached general availability.

Rocky Linux 10.0 follows the latest RHEL 10 changes with many software updates, x86-64-v3 as the new x86_64 baseline, initial support for the RISC-V architecture, and more.

Some key packages of Rocky Linux 10.0 include the likes of Python 3.12, PHP 8.3, Nginx 1.26, MySQL 8.4 / MariaDB 10.11, LLVM 19.1, Rust 1.84.1, Go 1.23, and many other updates compared to the default RHEL 9 / Rocky Linux 9 days.
