Following the recently-launched Thelio Mira redesign, System76 today announced the new Thelio Major workstation with improved thermals and more performance.

Complementing the redesigned Thelio Mira desktop is now the new Thelio Major with a similar overhaul to the larger chassis that continues to be manufactured in-house by System76 in Colorado. The Thelio Major hardware also has a nice upgrade with now being configurable up to a 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X, 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory, NVIDIA RTX 6000 PRO Blackwell graphics, and up to 40TB of storage.
