With Metro: Last Light at 2560 x 1440, the GTX 950 was faster than the R9 Fury... Yep, it's real sad given the R9 Fury costs over $550 while the GTX 950 can be easily had for less than $200.
The best performance-per-cost is easily with the NVIDIA GPUs...
... as is the best power efficiency.
