The spread between Windows 10 and Linux isn't as nearly as large as what we have seen out of higher-end systems.
But there still are some cases where the Linux distributions are running much better than Windows on the Ryzen 5 4500U.
For creator workloads like Blender and V-RAY, the Linux distributions do offer better performance than Windows 10 on this Ryzen 5 4500U notebook.
