The disk benchmark results weren't particularly interesting given that all of the kernel versions were recent. OpenSUSE and CentOS were using XFS file-systems in the tested directories (and openSUSE Tumbleweed using Btrfs for the root partition) while the other distributions continue defaulting to EXT4.
