With the F1 2017 racing game, using the Core i9 9900K led to frame rates 32% higher than with the Ryzen 7 2700X when running this Vulkan-powered game at 1440p with low quality settings.
When pushing the GPU harder by using ultra high quality settings at 1440p, the Core i9 9900K was delivering 15% better performance on average while the minimum frame rate was up by 34%.
The Mad Max performance tended to be similar between the two CPUs except for the Stronghold scene that fell heavily in favor of the Core i9 9900K processor.
