The MD5 performance was similar to the DES results with the Intel Atom netbook being 11x faster and the Fedora guest just being under 18x faster.

The Blowfish performance was even worse with the Amazon EC2 Micro machine. The Dell Mini 9 netbook was 15x faster and the single-thread KVM guest expanded its lead to being 23x faster than the EC2 instance Amazon gives away free to new customers.

With the OpenSSL RSA 4096-bit test, the t1.micro cloud setup finally beat out the Dell Mini 9 netbook but it still could not beat out the Fedora KVM guest due to its performance fluctuating severely.
