RHEL 8.0 performance certainly moves in the right direction considering the vintage of RHEL 7.
PostgreSQL certainly performs much better on the EPYC 2P server with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.0.
The Redis performance is also much better under RHEL 8.0.
The kernel performance is much better on RHEL 8.0 with the Stress-NG micro-benchmarks.
