AMD Radeon 8060S Linux Graphics Performance With Strix Halo
Right from the start with firing up the Linux-native, Vulkan-using 3DMark Wild Life Extreme benchmark, the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395 demonstrates the incredible performance potential of the Strix Halo iGPU... Nearly 3x the performance of the Strix Point RDNA3.5 graphics that are already impressive and much better too than the Xe2 graphics found with Lunar Lake.
Equally impressive is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395 managing to deliver the best performance-per-Watt during the 3DMark Linux testing.
AMD Strix Halo is very impressive not only for its 16 core / 32 thread Zen 5 CPU cures but the beefy iGPU too.
As a reminder, this is all out-of-the-box on Ubuntu 25.04 with the upstream Linux 6.14 kernel and Mesa 25.0 graphics drivers. The open-source AMD Linux graphics driver stack was running well and delivering around 2x the performance of the Strix Point RDNA3.5 graphics performance.
