Leela Chess Zero is the chess engine employing neural networks and capable of making use of AVX-512. There is a significant uplift to find with the new Ryzen 9 7900 series while still Intel's Alder lake ended up leading for these chess benchmarks.
But for simpler chess engines not employing neural networks, the Ryzen 9 7900 series was stomping the competition and older AMD processors.
