Running The Ryzen 7 1700 At 4.0GHz On Linux

With the Ryzen 7 1700 clocked up to 4.0GHz rather than its 3.0GHz base clock frequency and 3.6GHz turbo, the Ryzen 7 1800X can run neck-and-neck with the Ryzen 7 1800X that only turbos up to 4.0GHz.

In some workloads, the Ryzen 7 1700 overclocked comes out ahead of the Ryzen 7 1800X due to the $499 CPU not always going to its turbo speed constantly, unlike the static overclock.

Not bad for a big overclock on air cooling and stable throughout all the tests!
