AMD Ryzen 7 7840U Performance Benchmarks On Linux: Great Uplift For Zen 4 Laptops

While only having a week so far to experiment with the Ryzen 7 7840U, I'm very impressed with this Phoenix SoC.

👁 TensorFlow benchmark with settings of Device: CPU, Batch Size: 16, Model: GoogLeNet. Acer - Ryzen 7 7840U was the fastest.

👁 TensorFlow benchmark with settings of Device: CPU, Batch Size: 16, Model: ResNet-50. Acer - Ryzen 7 7840U was the fastest.

The TensorFlow speed-ups are tremendous thanks to AVX-512. Even with TensorFlow the Ryzen 7 7840U power consumption was similar to the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U.

👁 ONNX Runtime benchmark with settings of Model: Faster R-CNN R-50-FPN-int8, Device: CPU, Executor: Standard. Acer - Ryzen 7 7840U was the fastest.

👁 Chaos Group V-RAY benchmark with settings of Mode: CPU. Acer - Ryzen 7 7840U was the fastest.

In total I ran 268 different benchmarks under Linux across these three laptops for my initial Ryzen 7 7840U Linux testing.
