Onto the open (AMDGPU) vs. closed-source (Catalyst) driver tests for the R9 285!
Once the power management support is implemented for Tonga, the open-source R9 285 performance should be much faster... For now, the R9 285 on open-source is too slow for gaming plus there's the bugs mentioned on the previous page.
