AMD Catalyst 2013 Linux Graphics Driver Year-In-Review

The Counter-Strike: Source (Source Engine) performance for the Radeon HD 7950 had regressed in Catalyst 13.4 but is recovered in the latest beta (13.11 Beta v9.4) and is running where it was in Catalyst 13.1.
Catalyst 13.4 had also regressed for OpenArena but now with the last driver tested it's running ahead of where it was in Catalyst 13.1, but only by a few percent.
There was no real change in the Prey first person shooter performance but the Quake 4 game meanwhile was trying to advance higher in the newer driver.
