AMD Athlon II X3 425 On Linux

Like our LAME test, the FFmpeg results between the Phenom II X3 710 and Athlon II X3 425 were remarkably close. Had the Phenom II X3 710 been running at 2.7GHz rather than 2.6GHz it would have some out slightly ahead, but still the budget tri-core processor is running well.
The x264 numbers tell the same story as the LAME and FFmpeg results.
The Athlon II X3 425 was also able to compete well against its bigger brother with the CAMELLIA256-ECB cipher.
Again, the Phenom II X3 710 and Athlon II X3 425 were close performers, this time with OpenSSL.
