The OpenGL Lightsmark lighting benchmark does not work with the Catalyst driver that was tested due to regressions, but the open-source driver works. The Gallium3D driver has made significant performance improvements that affect Lightsmark in recent weeks, but the Catalyst driver is still much faster when not in a regressed state.
