At 1024 x 768 in World of Padman, the Gallium3D driver was also faster than the classic R300/600 driver in this second ioquake3 game. The R300g driver with the Radeon X1950PRO continued to perform much better than the R600g driver even when using the Radeon HD 4870 and Radeon HD 5770 graphics cards.
The Radeon X1950PRO, Radeon HD 3850, Radeon HD 4670, Radeon HD 4870, and Radeon HD 5770 graphics cards could still handle running World of Padman at 1920 x 1080. However, between the Radeon HD 3650 and Radeon HD 5770 graphics cards there was virtually no performance difference when using Gallium3D driver, as there are still some CPU bottlenecks with this open-source code.
