Turning to running Unigine Heaven on Linux with its OpenGL 3.x renderer led to results that are even more impressive. Unigine Heaven running at 1920 x 1080 with the AMD FirePro V8800 led to a 51% jump in frame-rate over the FirePro V8700/V8750 graphics cards. This ultra high-end workstation graphics card also trashed the consumer Radeon HD 5770 with this heavenly benchmark.
Unigine Tropics was also interesting for the FirePro V8800 with another 51% jump in its frame-rate!
