Interestingly for the SciMark2 composite test the performance was strongly in favor of LLVM Clang 3.4.
For many of the individual SciMark 2 tests the performance was close between these latest compiler versions...
With the Dense LU Matrix Factorization and Jacobi Successive Over-Relaxation tests is where Clang performed very strong and flew past GCC 4.9.
GCC 4.9 meanwhile picked up a win with the TSCP chess benchmark.
