The Radeon HD 6300 graphics provided by the AMD Fusion E-350 are approximately 2.71x faster with the proprietary Catalyst driver than using the open-source Gallium3D driver for the OpenArena game. This is significant in that the Gallium3D Fusion support is not even fast enough to support this ioquake3-powered game at resolutions of 1024 x 768 and above where it is too slow to be a playable experience. In terms of the performance relative to Catalyst, it is right in line to the delta we see for other low-end Radeon GPUs that are from the R600 family or newer.

With the Warsow game, the Catalyst driver is three times faster. The Gallium3D driver couldn't even push above 15 FPS at 800 x 600 resolution where as the Catalyst 11.3 driver was up at 39 FPS, which still is quite low and makes this game barely playable even with the blob.

With the ioquake3 Urban Terror game, the Catalyst driver is only 1.65x faster, but neither driver would lead to a pleasant experience with this game on the current-generation AMD APU.
