As mentioned in the AMD article this week, with the Mesa + LLVM combination used currently by the Oibaf PPA on Ubuntu 14.04, Tesseract and other more demanding OpenGL games/benchmarks do not run for the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver (HD 7000 series GPUs and newer) due to AMD GPU LLVM back-end issues.
