World of Padman is also based on the ioquake3 engine, which for modern CPU/GPU hardware is CPU-bound, and here the last R300-R500 Catalyst driver was still nearly five times faster than the modern open-source Radeon code.
With Urban Terror, the last of the ioquake3 tests, the old Catalyst drivers remain multiple times faster.
