AMD Radeon Graphics Benchmarks On The Linux 3.18 Kernel
From the testing of the Radeon HD 5770, HD 6950, HD 7950, R7 260X, R9 270X, and R9 290 graphics cards there wasn't any real change discovered in the open-source Radeon Linux graphics driver performance between the 3.17 stable and 3.18 Git kernels. Though on the bright side, at least no regressions either.
While the performance is flat with Linux 3.18, at least the Radeon DRM driver now has R600 UVD support, Userptr support, and other improvements.
