There was strong performance out of AmpereOne when it came to RocksDB.

But on a performance-per-Watt basis the Ampere Altra Max was delivering better power efficiency.

With the RockDB-compatible Speedb, it also saw healthy performance out of the AmpereOne A192-32X while Intel Sierra Forest led in performance per Watt.

Under the synthetic Coremark benchmark, the AmpereOne A193-32X edges past the EPYC 9754 and EPYC 9684X processors along with all single socket Intel Xeon processors tested.

But on a performance-per-Watt basis the prior Ampere Altra Max M128-30 actually led of all tested processors.

There continues to be a big difference with AmpereOne system power especially with regards to minimum/idle power.
