Apple M2 On Linux Performance Against AMD Zen 4 Mobile SoCs
👁 GraphicsMagick benchmark with settings of Operation: Rotate. Apple M2 MacBook Air was the fastest.
In some of the OpenMP-threaded imaging operations with GraphicsMagick the Apple M2 managed to perform quite competitively to the Zen 4 SoCs.
The M2 tended to perform not as well with the dav1d open-source AV1 decoder.
The M2 was also much slower for VVenC H.266/VVC video encoding.
As was also the case for x265 video encoding.
