Lastly is the OpenCL-accelerated FluidX3D lattice Boltzmann CFD software, which ran nicely across all GPUs/drivers tested.

With the FP32-FP32 performance, the Arc Graphics A750/A770 easily outperformed all of the NVIDIA GPUs and AMD GPUs tested. The AMD RDNA2 GPUs struggled here while the A770 was about 23% faster than the RTX 3060.

The Arc Graphics A750/A770 were consuming more power, but on a performance-per-Watt basis was competitive with the tested NVIDIA GPUs.

With the FluidX3D FP32-FP16S/FP32-FP16C builds the Arc Graphics A770 still came out ahead of the GeForce RTX 3060 but by a much slimmer margin.

On a performance-per-Watt basis the DG2/Alchemist cards were comparable to the tested NVIDIA RTX 20/30 GPUs but consuming much more power.

The Intel Arc Graphics desktop graphics cards do compete very well for performance-per-dollar with FluidX3D against NVIDIA and AMD.
