In the case of the Himeno pressure solver, Antergos and Arch were slower than Ubuntu 17.10.
Clear and Arch were faster than Antergos and Ubuntu with the time needed to compile a generic default configuration Linux kernel.
Arch Linux didn't perform any differently from Antergos in the Stockfish chess benchmark.
Of the systemd-powered boot process, the Ubuntu Server's default kernel took 4.3 seconds while Antergos/Arch took two seconds and Clear Linux required just one second.
In the case of Clear Linux, they have even taken to Glibc optimizations.
