The slots on this motherboard include one PCI Express 2.0 x16, three PCI Express x1, and two PCI slots. There are also two USB headers below the bottom-most PCI slot.
The area around the LGA-1155 CPU socket is free of any potential obstructions with the installation of after-market heatsinks. The Z68 Pro3 motherboard also supports installing older LGA-775 CPU heatsinks, thanks to the additional pre-drilled holes. In the upper-left hand corner of the motherboard next to the heatsink advertising, the Virtu technology is the 4/8-pin power connector and an additional 3-pin fan header.
The rear I/O panel motherboards on this ASRock Z68 motherboard include four USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, one PS/2, DVI, VGA, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, and six audio ports. There is no Firewire or eSATA connectivity on this motherboard.
