The Stress-NG kernel micro-benchmarks were interesting across these BSD and Linux distributions. In some of these kernel benchmarks Linux was much faster than the BSDs while in other cases FreeBSD 14.1 was proving to be very performant -- at least on this AMD Zen 4 workstation being used for this testing. Again though for this page Stress-NG just amounts to kernel micro-benchmarks.
