FS-Mark really wins with the Zlib and LZO compression techniques, but keep in mind this is a synthetic benchmark. Due to FS-Mark having easily compressable data, that's why compression is such a win here.
Noatime provided a minor performance boost in BlogBench for read performance.
While for BlogBench write performance a variety of mount options helped boost its performance.
