The 32-bit OpenSSL performance with the Intel Atom netbook are incomparable to that of the 64-bit AMD Athlon II X3 system, but with the NC10 the RSA 4096-bit performance across all four distributions were just four signs per second. The AMD numbers were also close and too close to call any leader.

With GraphicsMagick, the 32-bit numbers again were the same while with the 64-bit system the Sabayon and Fedora releases were attempting to inch ahead of Calculate and Ubuntu, but they did not make it too far.

With Himeno, a Poisson pressure solver, the Samsung netbook had the best numbers when it was running the Gentoo-based Sabayon 5.3 distribution, which worked out to being about 30% faster than Ubuntu and Calculate Linux Desktop. With the more powerful AMD system there was not much deviation with the Himeno performance across the Linux operating systems.
