In the Swet benchmark, GCC is yielding significantly faster performance over Clang.

When it comes to build times, Clang was to little surprise faster at building LLVM than GCC.

But when it came to compiling PHP, GCC was able to do so quicker.

GCC also still leads in the performance of the resulting binary for C-Ray ray-tracing.

The Bullet physics library also tends to favor GCC.
