LLVM Clang 10.0 Compiler Performance On Intel + AMD CPUs Under Linux
Intel's SVT-VP9 open-source VP9 encoder was also faster on the Core i9 10980XE when running the Clang 10 produced binary.
Himeno saw a performance drop out of Clang 10 on the Ryzen 9 3950X while the Core i9 10980XE saw another speed-up and the other three systems saw no real change in performance.
With the exception of the i7-1065G7 Ice Lake laptop, the build speed doesn't appear to change all that much when going from LLVM Clang 9 to Clang 10.
