The Kvazaar H.265 video encoder was reliably delivering the best performance on Clang 12.

With other encoders like SVT-AV1, Clang 12.0 tended to offer some slight advantages.

Many of these encoders rely on hand-tuned Assembly code but even so the Clang-built binaries were delivering some measurable improvements over GCC 11.1.
