DragonFlyBSD's Kernel Optimizations Are Paying Off - 3 BSDs & 5 Linux OS Benchmarks On Threadripper

There wasn't much to see out of the Node.js benchmarks between BSDs and Linux.

In many cases, DragonFlyBSD 5.5-DEVELOPMENT is offering slightly better performance than 5.4.3 stable.

DragonFlyBSD 5.5 was running much faster with the GIMP imaging benchmarks though the Debian/Ubuntu releases with the same GIMP 2.10.8 version were still faster.

It's great seeing DragonFlyBSD improve its performance against FreeBSD and Linux.

Those wishing to dig into these dozens of early benchmark figures for DragonFlyBSD 5.5-DEVELOPMENT can find all the data on OpenBenchmarking.org. I'll be back with more system benchmarks when the next DragonFlyBSD release is near, but so far things are looking up.
